A day at the park

Yesterday we went on a walk to the park. It was such a gorgeous day. Mom got a little sunburn, but thanks to Grammie's advice, she put sunscreen on me. Here are some pics from our adventure.

I'm strong!

I'm a strong boy! I can hold my head up, sit with support and do the "Super Man" on my tummy!

Saturday morning fun

On Saturday morning, we went to my aunt and uncle's house to celebrate my cousin Kadence's 6th birthday. I didn't like my party hat very much, I preferred to stick with mom.

Sicky Poo

So we thought I was getting better, but Tuesday morning I was stuffy again and didn't feel good all day. I wanted to be held constantly, so much that my mom's arms were sore the next day. My nose had to be suctioned about every hour and it made me cry. At night I got some Vick's baby rub and mom put a soothing vapors plug in in my room, so this morning I was much better. I also found my thumb. I will usually suck on both fists, but this was the first time I put just the thumb in my mouth.

Busy Weekend!

It was a great three day weekend for my family. We got a lot of work done. I am in my bouncer in the garage while my parents were doing a massive cleaning. I went out with mom and the aunties on Saturday for some shopping. They stayed with us on Sunday night and experienced how exhausting I can be. I threw up several times and made noises most of the night, then woke up a little stuffy, but I'm feeling much better now after getting lots of rest.

Happy Valentine's Day!

We had a Valentine's Day party at my house. We had lunch and the boys decorated cookies, made Valentines and played with cars and the lizard. I also tried out my new high chair and it's great! I met a baby girl for the first time (all my other friends are boys) and she really liked me.

My sleep sac

So I am now consistently sleeping eight hours a night! Mom is gearing up for going back to work, so that makes her really happy. I am more active in my sleep and I was kicking the blankets off, so I got this nice little sleep sac.

The other picture is of me in my "knee highs". These socks stay on great most of the time, but I still manage to kick one off when I'm really excited.

Storytime!

Today we went to story time at the library. I enjoyed seeing all the other kids and hearing the music. Mom helped me to dance, it was really fun.

Vegas baby!

Today the high was 71 degrees and it was very sunny! It was a gorgeous day so we took a stroller walk to Walmart and I got to wear my new shades.

Party boy!

On Friday night, we all got dressed up and went to a surprise dinner party for one of our friend's 50th birthday. The name of the restaurant was Austin's Steakhouse so of course we loved it and it was inside Texas Station casino. I was so alert during the party with all the decorations all over and when we walked through the casino I was in heaven with all the flashing lights.

Playtime

I love my singing light up seahorse that mom bought me! I was trying to give it a kiss.

My favorite place

I LOVE to sleep in mom and dad's bed. Don't I look so peaceful?

Valentine flirt

I am such a cute flirt! I am two months old today, I am 12 lbs 4 oz and 23.5 inches long!

Weldon likes me

TJ's son Weldon really likes me. He says "I hold you" and always wants to hold me. He is so nice, we will be good friends.

My blessing

We had my baby blessing at church on Sunday and my dad gave me a wonderful blessing for my amazing future. The sweater and booties I wore were knit by my dad's grandpa and he wore them when he was blessed as a baby. My Chatterton grandparents were there along with great grandma Pat and great aunt Judy and mom's 2nd cousin TJ, his wife Marylynn and son Weldon.
