Camping in Utah

We took the boat and our awesome truck tent to Sand Hollow State Park with some friends last weekend.
Just chillin with my buddy Caleb on the beach.

I'm a boating boy!

Beatiful sunset!

Sorry we've been going a little crazy here!

Exhibit A: Unloading the contents of the pantry.

Beach Trip!

We took a quick trip to Laguna Beach with mom, my sitter Lisa and her kids. We had a great time in the sand.

It was a beautiful day!

I got in trouble for throwing sand.

I got knocked over by the waves while chasing birds.

I love the ocean!

Swimming Lessons!

We've been doing swimming lessons at the YMCA with Grandma Chatterton.
I love to jump in and can hold my breath in the water really well.
I am working on kicking and am getting better every time.

I hope I will be swimming by the end of the summer!

20 months going on 20

Grammie took this sweet picture of me up in Montana.

Every morning I get dad's razor and pretend to shave!

I am such a big boy at 20 months! We are officially done with all baby stuff except diapers. I understand pee pee and will sit on the toilet but I'm far from grasping the concept!
I am starting to say many words and sometimes little phrases like "hi daddy" "it's hot" when I'm having trouble with a toy or get myself trapped I say "it's stuck" I answer yes and no questions appropriately and respond and initiate social greetings (both these are important skills for the child of a special education teacher)
I also use the sign paired with the word "more" to ask for things. My common used words are "star, ball, Dora, doggy, mama/mommy, dada/daddy, baby, stuck, hot, pee pee, this, juice, snack, cheese, fish, uh oh, yeah, no, night night"
I am looking forward to some fun activities the next few weeks while my mom is on break from school!!
