Celebrating 10 years

Once upon a time, this girl started talking to the new guy who was singing in the church choir with her and invited him to a gathering at her house.  He was the last to leave that night and two days later, sent her a text message asking her out.  She said yes, and from that night on, they were together.  Not too long after their first date, the boy made it clear that he had intentions to marry her and she was just as sure as he was that they were meant to be together forever.  On December 18th, 2014, the boy and girl met at the front door of the San Diego Temple of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints and left that day sealed to one another for eternity.

Happy 10th anniversary to my amazing husband and best friend.  You have made all my dreams come true!  Here are a few highlights of our life together so far.

Austin's 7th bday

I can't believe my oldest is 7! It seems like yesterday we were taking him home from the hospital. Austin has always been very special to our family.  His friendliness and creativity make an impression on everyone he meets. We really wanted him to have a great birthday, especially this year with all the changes happening.

He wanted a Mario theme, so we had fun getting everything planned and prepared.

The kids had a great time!

Amilia also had a great time and wanted to be involved in everything!

Auntie K helped her with the piƱata, she was insistent on using the blindfold!

We got Austin a Knex Mario racing set that was on special on woot.com
It was about 3 times the size we thought it was from the online ad! It is very cool but too many pieces!

Austin is having a great year in first grade. He is doing well in both academics and behavior at school.  He is a great reader. He really likes the books in the I know an old lady who swallowed series. He also wants to start chapter books. He still loves art and enjoyed playing  soccer this fall.

He is so kind to others and loves to be a helper.  We are so pleased with the young man he is becoming!
